Paul Lefeuvre is a French qualified attorney at law, based in Paris, specializing in international business law and cross-border dispute resolution.

Now an independent practitioner, Paul has spent fifteen years in top-tier international Law Firms, advising and representing large companies in high-profile transactions and disputes involving complex and business-sensitive issues, bringing them to an optimal conclusion, either in court, through arbitration, or other dispute resolution mechanisms. Paul’s experience covers a wide range of topics, including joint ventures, shareholder agreements, long-term supply contracts, representations and warranties, licensing, distribution, investment, trade, and construction, with a particular focus on energy, infrastructure, transport, telecommunications, media, and technology industries.

In parallel to his main international arbitration activities, Paul has developed a strong experience in advising startup and scale-up companies, providing strategic advice on various business, corporate and compliance matters, drafting, negotiating, and implementing internal, domestic, and international agreements, including shareholder agreements, distribution, concession, licensing, SaaS, and various sale and purchase agreements. Advising and representing companies, state-owned entities, and governments in international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations as well as in their pre-dispute negotiations with a specific focus on infrastructure, construction, energy, and mining disputes, mainly in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

2020-2021           Sailing project, Atlantic Ocean – Captain of Sailing Vessel Malotru

After eight years working at Shearman & Sterling, a short break to fulfill an old dream, 20 months at sea circumnavigating the Atlantic Ocean on a 43-foot second-hand sailing boat, with more than 30 crews recruited on the way.
